I put this ad on craigslist. I was deadly serious too. I will totally bust anyone’s ghosts. I’ve done it before, and I have no reason to suspect that I can’t do it again.

When a show goes into syndication, that pretty much kills any product placement hopes you may have had, right? You’re stuck with buying time in the every-ten-fucking-minutes ad slots like a peasant. Then there’s the secondary problem of people watching stuff on-line, where even the legally-available stuff doesn’t carry nearly as many ads as the network programming. If only there were some way to-

But soft! What light from yonder window breaks! It is retroactively-CGIed product placement, and SeamBi are the sun! What they do is they hack old shows and digitally insert current ads. Everyone’s a winner!

The only two shows which I can confirm have been fiddled with are How I Met Your Mother and My Name Is Earl. Am I alone or this extremely disturbing?
